water

Did you know?

Your body consists mainly of water, even in your bones and in your teeth. Without water, your body will dry out and die of dehydration. Normally, by the time you feel thirsty, it means that you are already dehydrated.

Depending on the climate where you are located, on your physical activity, on what you eat, and pre-medical conditions, it is advisable to drink at least 1.5 litres of water per day EXCLUDING coffee, tea, herbal teas and fruit juices.

Drink a large glass of water first thing in the morning as this will allow your digestive system to wake up gently.  Carry on drinking during the course of the day, 30 minutes before a meal, a little during the meal but NOT just after a meal. The quantity is entirely dependent upon you.
