Recommended Pantry/Freezer List
This is my recommended list for pantry and freezer staples. They have a long shelf life, so if you do not have them already in your house. We will kick start this section by including recipes for mid-week meals that you could make from the pantry/freezer list below. Although the ingredients are not bulky, do keep them to the minimum if you do have space restrictions.

SPICES BAKING SUPPLIES
Ground Cumin Flour
Chilli Powder Brown Sugar
Dried Oregano Granulated Sugar
Ground Coriander Honey preferably organic
Curry Powder Baking Powder
Smoked Paprika Baking Soda
Five Spice Powder Cornstarch

DRIED LEGUMES CANNED/JARS FOOD
Lentils Tuna
Beans Coconut Milk
Chickpeas Kidney beans/cannellini beans
Tomato Paste & Tomato Sauce
Mayonnaise / Dijon Mustard
Pesto in jars
Maple Syrup
Honey
Canned Tomatoes (whole)

SEASONINGS/CONDOMENTS CARBOHYDRATES
Coarse sea salt Pasta and Noodles
Pepper /garlic flakes /ground ginger Rice
Dried herbs such as Oregano, Basil, Thyme Whole grains (quinoa, lentils)
Soy sauce/Fish sauce Polenta and Couscous
Stock cubes – get good quality ones Oatmeal

For meat eaters, frozen meat, including chicken (whichever part of chicken you fancy), a packet or two of good quality sausages / frozen fish/ beef minced meat
Frozen puff pastry/frozen short crust pastry
